Richard was beyond amazing! We are traveling and our dog needed some last min (anal glands ) grooming! Not only was Richard very communicative, he was able to accommodate us with coming to our rental! He was very patient and kind to our pup. Treated her like she was his own!! And not only did he do a great job on our pup we got some amazing food suggestions to try!! Something else we learned, Richard and his team will travel for your fur babies/pets......out of state! Hands down great service, great communication, simple, quick and will 100% seek Richard out when in the area again or need help out of state!

Richard cared for our senior dog several times in 2022, and each time was excellent! Pre-COVID, we had used a large boarding facility, but it was no longer feasible due to her age as she's now 14. A larger place actually recommended The Village Pets as a great option. We're so glad we found them! Our dog was treated like family every time we left her with Richard, and we got the best photos of her every day! She even learned to like cats while there! He's great at keeping the seniors and small animals separate from the younger, more active ones. Our dog was kept upstairs in Richard's home, and it has become her "home away from home". She loves it there and comes home rested and rejuvenated. We're thrilled to have found someone who treats our dog like family!

I had a wonderful first experience with The Village Pets. I was in a bind with needing a pet sitter within a few days of my travel and had never used a pet sitting service before. Richard was very responsive and treated me like a VIP customer from the start. Even though they were very booked and my request was last minute, he went the extra mile and called around to his sitters to try to help, and he saved the day! The sign up process was easy too. Maddie was the sitter, and she was awesome. You can tell she loves animals, she followed instructions perfectly, and she even text me videos daily so I could see my doggies while I was away that week. It is an amazing feeling to know your pets are in good hands when you can't be there. I am extremely grateful for this company and will definitely be a repeat customer. I highly recommend The Village Pets! :)
