The Village Pets

The owner of The Village Pets was kind enough to help us out last week when we had a rescued dog who needed transport back to her owner. I was in a tough space as I didn't have enough charge in my car to get there and back and also my husband was out-of-town and I didn't feel comfortable dropping the dog off at a strangers house at night after work. The owner of The Village Pets transported the lost dog back to her owner and wouldn't accept any payment. The Village Pets van was very clean and the owner was a dog whisperer as he just barrel hugged right into our nervously, excited rescue dog. I would definitely recommend the The Village Pets. They seem to be in it for all the right reasons - because they really love animals :)

Richard was beyond amazing! We are traveling and our dog needed some last min (anal glands ) grooming! Not only was Richard very communicative, he was able to accommodate us with coming to our rental! He was very patient and kind to our pup. Treated her like she was his own!! And not only did he do a great job on our pup we got some amazing food suggestions to try!! Something else we learned, Richard and his team will travel for your fur babies/pets......out of state! Hands down great service, great communication, simple, quick and will 100% seek Richard out when in the area again or need help out of state!

Richard cared for our senior dog several times in 2022, and each time was excellent! Pre-COVID, we had used a large boarding facility, but it was no longer feasible due to her age as she's now 14. A larger place actually recommended The Village Pets as a great option. We're so glad we found them! Our dog was treated like family every time we left her with Richard, and we got the best photos of her every day! She even learned to like cats while there! He's great at keeping the seniors and small animals separate from the younger, more active ones. Our dog was kept upstairs in Richard's home, and it has become her "home away from home". She loves it there and comes home rested and rejuvenated. We're thrilled to have found someone who treats our dog like family!
