(10/19)- So I went back here about 2-3 weeks ago for twists. The Braider doing my hair wasn’t the same woman I had last time (ofc). She kept leaving every few minutes. Even left for almost an hour after starting my hair. I wanted my twists to be knotless at the roots so they lasted longer and she didn’t do what I asked. She gave me knots and my hair is now coming out in chunks around my edges. She was gripping and pulling at my scalp VERY tightly that I left with a migraine and had to use a hot towel on my head the entire night when I got home. I walked in around 1:30pm and was the last one in the shop around 9pm. My parts in the back are a LOT bigger than the front and there’s too many parts in the front so I can’t even style my hair. I just wear it in a low ponytail for work. I just finally stopped getting blisters and pimples around my hairline and edges from the hair FINALLY loosening up. I paid $200 for a style i absolutely hated. Next time I go I will request for the woman I had the first time. I sat patiently through my appointment but it reminded me of why I stopped letting people touch my head because they don’t take proper care of it and don’t listen to the instructions you give them.“
