Referred by my g.p doctor to this practice. She gave me the names of 2 of her favorite doctors in the Northside group and Dr. Gangasani was one of them. I liked Dr. Gangasani and thought he did a great job of following up on my complaints. The front desk was a little confusing, since there were apparently 2 practices receiving patients there, but it wasn't a big deal. What is a big deal (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is the tendency of Northside to NOT TELL YOU that some of the places they will refer you to for further testing charge a lot more than other equally-good places you can have the testing done. Let me start by saying I was kind of nervous about going to a heart specialist once I entered this place. However, once I got there I got comfortable. It took me 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. There were a lot of patients there that day and they were running a little behind. I can understand that. Dr Gangasani is a pretty good guy. I had to do another EKG to see how I was doing after I took one from the regular doctor where my pulse was like 120 but blood pressure was good. Something like 117/72. This was after I came from the gym. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that I have to go to 3 different CVG offices to get services done. I came here for an evaluation, I had to go to Lawrenceville for the heart monitor, then I have to go to Duluth for the stress test, then back to Lawrenceville for the ECHO. That's the ONLY part I don't like. If it wasn't for that, I would have gave them a 5 easily if I was able to do all of these services in one place.
Dr. Sandler is a top notch CardioVascular doctor. It would be hard to find find another as competent as their job. CardioVascular group has always been easy to work with and they communicate with you throughout the process.
