Jiujitsu Columbus welcomes visitors and locals alike, providing a home-like atmosphere for adults and kids of all levels. The gym's instructors, including a 4th-degree black belt in BJJ, offer expert guidance in various martial arts disciplines. Members and coaches create a supportive environment, focusing on detailed drills, technique, and situational sparring. The gym is known for being clean, inclusive, and having a positive atmosphere where new students feel very welcomed and accommodated. The instructors adapt lessons to individual needs, making sure everyone learns comfortably. There are multiple training options, including private classes and open mats, with a fundamentals class that is excellent, a well-developed advanced class, and a sharp, enjoyable judo class. Overall, Jiujitsu Columbus is an outstanding club that fosters success in training and competitions while maintaining a friendly and supportive environment.
I spent a week in the area and was fortunate to be able to attend a few classes during my stay. I went to both beginners and advanced classes as well as his lunch time class. It was a great time. Even though I was an unfamiliar face to gym and a white belt, I was treated as if I had already been a part of the gym. The instructors were able to take the skills and knowledge that I had already and make a few adjustments to help me refine my techniques. None of the students in the class treated me any different because I was just a visitor. Everyone in the gym seemed to be a family and were there not for just their benefit, but the benefit of everyone who steps on the mat. Blind Fury has the exact atmosphere that I am looking for in a gym. I will definitely become a member as soon as I make the full time move to this area. I look forward to utilizing as many of the classes that I can to help me improve my skill set and become a better competitor.

I had a wonderful time rolling with Blind Fury. I was in town for a class at Fort Benning, so I only made it to a No Gi BJJ class and a wrestling class with some Gi open mat after. Everything was great. The instructors treated me like a permanent member and belts of all ranks rolled with me. I had a blast. I highly recommend this gym as a permanent gym or as a place to keep up with BJJ while temporarily training on post. There’s a lot of open mat opportunity, and that’s perfect for those of us who love live rolling!
