Shannon Belletti was the best thing about my wedding (besides the groom.)I first met Shannon when she photographed my sister's wedding. Shannon's professionalism and talent impressed me so much that I knew I had to hire her for my own wedding. The pictures she took were perfect, breath-taking, and arrived faster than expected, but honestly, perfect pictures are the tip of the ice berg of what I received with Shannon. Shannon was more of a wedding coordinator than my actual wedding coordinator. She set the schedule and enforced it. She gracefully handled guests that wanted to photobomb. She could tell I was upset about something and she pulled up a beautiful picture she had taken and cheered me up. My actual wedding coordinator had a major screw up and almost ruined the surprise groom's cake. Shannon put out the fire in the background. While solving the problem she was still able to shoot our reception entrance and keep me from even knowing there was a problem! (I only found out later about how much the coordinator screwed up.) Seriously, get your dress, get your venue, but then do whatever you have to in your budget to make sure you hire Shannon. Having Shannon as your photographer is worth anything else. I also highly, highly recommend that you get the engagement package too. Posing for romantic pictures can feel super awkward, so doing the engagement shoot with Shannon will ensure that on your wedding day, you're already comfortable with the process.
