I'd already made several calls to various vendors who were rushed to try and move me to a paid service visit before having any discussions. I called all the usual suspects: the contractors pushed by the big box retailers and the contractors who advertise heavily on TV and radio. I was getting outlandish bids and wasting alot of time. I finally found Eddy at Express Heating and Air on Nexdoor. His bid was 45% lower and he saved me $6,000. He also came back and installed a ultraviolet light and ionizer for free!
