She covered all the details of the procedure with me beforehand and went over the aftercare as well. She asked me what kind of results I was hoping to have and patiently listened while I gave my answers. While I wouldn’t say the results were what I had in mind, I am still happy with the experience. I was hoping for more natural but fuller lips, but with it being my first time, she was more cautious and advised against anything too dramatic. Electrolysis is definitely more expensive, more time consuming, and more painful than laser hair removal, but if you have a darker complexion (or are predisposed to Melanoma like me!), I highly suggest electrolysis.The folks at this facility are extremely LGBT-friendly, have a lot of black clients who have gotten great results without too much skin discoloration (especially compared to laser), and everyone on their team has gone above and beyond to help me feel welcome and comfortable.If you can afford it and need or want hair removal, this is the place to go!“

I have not waxed in a couple months now.. even when the hair does grow back it’s little to none. I would most definitely recommend this place no hesitation! The pain on a scale 1-10 I would say 1 not like pain but like a tiny rubber band popping you and that goes away.. FYI for the first time it may be uncomfortable more than anything pls don’t let that shy you away it’s literally so fast and painless.
