Walmart Health Center provides medical, dental and behavioral health under one roof. The clinic is very clean and the staff are kind, courteous and knowledgeable. Appointments are available with extended hours and on Saturdays, and wait times are often short. The nurse practitioners are described as thorough, patient, caring, loving and interested in patient well-being. They listen well and take time to figure out the root of problems. The center is a great alternative for someone who needs medical care, offering transparent and affordable pricing for appointments, labs and checkups, including for children. It is viewed as an easier way to manage health without getting in the way of what matters most. Patients can walk in or make an appointment.
My name is Liza Frederick I visited the Walmart Heath Clinic in Fayetteville, Georgia. I had an annual check up. I was in transition to finding a new doctor. At first, my visit was terrible, with a nurse practitioner that I did not like. After that, I asked if I could see someone else, and the change was much better. The nurse practitioner was a young woman, very loving, very caring and very interested in your well been. Her name is Kelsey Johnson. I had a little problem with one of my labs results and she had the secretary call me every month, to make sure that I was taking my medications, as prescribed. I was so surprised, not even the doctor that I had for so long did that, and was so expensive was so good. SHE IS GREAT. I will like to know where she will be next. I will follow her.
I was having issues with my blood pressure. I called to see if the could treat me first, I was able to make an appointment that very same day. The staff were kind and knowledgeable. My appointment was only $40! They do take some insurances but this was my cost without insurance (unfortunately mine was one that they didn't take. This place is a great alternative for someone who needs medical care and doesn't have insurance. I am so happy I found this place. I have even taken the rest of my family here for annual checkups. the fee is only $20 for children! Also, I have never waited more then 10 minutes!
This was my second visit here. The staff is kind and courteous. The whole clinic is very clean. Nurse Practitioner Melinda Jennings is very thorough, patient, caring and listens well. She takes the time out to figure out what is the root of your problem. She is also very kind and great beside manner. I asked for her the second time and is very thankful!
