I rescued a dog last week and reached out to them on Sunday because they were open and had good reviews. A friend also said it was a great place. Dr. Hodges and all the staff were kind and patient with Honey Girl. They gave her a good exam and seemed very knowledgeable. I had to reach back out today because Honey has a spot that isn’t healing as well as other places. I was able to send a picture, and they got her two prescriptions to help. When I picked up the medicines, I was told the directions, and the staff seemed genuinely concerned about HG’s health. Awesome folks!
I called them on a Sunday morning because my 16 year old cat with cancer developed a lot of pain on Saturday. They fit me in right away. They were so kind to me and my girl. They gave me plenty of time to say goodbye. I live in Jesup but I will be using them for my other cat and my dog.
I initially reached out to Coastal Home Veterinary Services because they were open over the weekend and my dog had an issue that I didn’t think could wait until Monday. They definitely saved me a trip to the emergency vet (and the saved me from the large bill as well). Dr.Hodges and staff were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The prices are fair and they didn’t overcharge or tack on unnecessary treatment to make a profit. If you are looking for an affordable and caring veterinary staff, I recommend checking them out! They are great!
