“Dr Stevenson is by far BEST experienced lead vet in our area and has built a brilliant team of fellow Doctors and staff. After having to unexpectedly put our very ill kitty down, she reached out to me with such sincerity and compassion over the evening. She explained she’d been in the middle of a consult for another pet owner facing the end of their dog’s life but offered to meet with me in person today. I felt such respect for her time and willingness to work me through what all the test results meant on Cornbread. It didnt mean getting my cat back. It was giving an opportunity for us both to work through a loss. She spent a half hour of probably her only lunch break but showed me the ultra sound. She pointed to the kidneys and explained what i was looking at. With her review and consult i could see a mutation just to the kidneys. I needed to SEE to understand. There was no other organ issue causing it. She answered my concerns about my other two and had even offered to give back my money. I politely declinded because all services i asked for were given and as always , quite nicely. They earned what i paid ( yeah it’s expensive but seriously EVERYTHING is now ) but i appreciated that she didnt want me leaving so upset. I left with a better medical understanding and a HECK OF ALOT of respect for Dr Stevenson. She has not only a huge heart and medical skills , she is courageous to face hard moments. And if i should ever require a hysterectomy … i seriously might consult with her. ?“
