Perfect getaway!! House is very well kept with super easy access to river, whether to fish, play, drift, or canoe!
The woods are quiet, peaceful, and very walkable. Perfect retreat to have a family trip or just have some down time.
Lovely picnic table area with another small day cabin that has a fire pit area where lots of s’mores and fun memories happens!
Wonderful area that you can find a lot to do and see. Can’t wait to get back there!
The River Sound was an beautiful, cozy home by a lovely stream. The woods around the property are super calm, and the house itself is well cared-for. It was a really good place to relax for the last few times we've been there. It's awesome we can access the National Forest from the trail in the backyard. Feels like you're in the middle of the woods. Excellent place to spend time with just the fam.
You can see deer and turkey in the backyard pretty frequently. The stream has been good for tubing and casual floats down too, we've caught a few trout in it.
Also had a few fun nights around the fire ring...great memories made around the campfire roasting s'mores...read full review
