I usually have a pretty good experience but I’d have to say that this time I was a little disappointed. For a while, Stitch braids weren’t a service they provided. But when I asked about it today, the stylist told me yes! Well… the stylist completed stitch in the front, but in the back of my head completed normal cornrows. I had already waited an hour before she started on my hair, and it took her 2 hours to “complete”. I didn’t want to waste anymore time. Looking at the photos, it appears my parts are crooked too. I wouldn’t advise requesting stitch braids for a while. Stylists need more work.
I personally had a nice experience. This, of course, is not to take away from anyone else’s experience & I don’t get braids done enough to know what other shops are like in comparison. But they worked consistently on me the whole time, often having more than one person working on me at the same time, and were very kind & welcoming. The price was what I would expect ($180 for 26 in box braids.) My only thing is that I initially asked if they could cut the hair shorter because the time I was there before last, they asked how long I wanted the hair. I thought this implied they COULD cut it only this time they didn’t comply. Nevertheless I still love the finished product...read full review
