I found a stray pitbull while in Augusta for work and brought him in to be checked out. He was not a friendly guy at all to the staff or to Dr. Vann and he said alot of ugly words to them. Everyone there took it all in stride and handled Bear wonderfully. They did not get rough with him or get scared by all his growling and ugly ways. By far, the staff and Dr. Vann handled him amazingly. We have since made it home to LA and Bear has seen our local vet but Dr. Vann and staff managed Bear better than any other vet he has seen. If we lived in Augusta, we would definitely be using Walton Way for all our vet care needs. I cannot say enough great things about them.
I honestly meant for my review to be 5 stars . When I went inside to buy shampoo for my dogs that had hotspots I had a discussion with the receptionist about my dogs skin problems . She was very polite and informative . My grandmother and my mother took their pets there for over 20 years . Margaret Widener and Carolyn Hodges .
I relocated about a year ago to Augusta, and one of the most difficult aspects of that transition was locating a vet - until I took my 2 little beasts (Chihuahuas) to Walton Way Veterinary Clinic. One of my babies is very anxious, and the other is a champion squirmmer! Plus, I'm a totally overprotective dog mom. That's a lot for some vets, but is isn't for Dr Vann and her staff. They are incredible! Not only am I comfortable with this veterinary practice, but my boy and girl are too. They show no signs of distress when we go into the clinic nor when we leave. I am not only confident in the care they get, but I'm completely comfortable with every member of their staff....read full review
