I went there for back length twists which are relatively simple to do. I was also a walk in and waited for about 30 minutes before someone started on my hair. EDIT: I went back and they fixed my hair for me, I just forgot to update my review. 5 stars!
Pros:
Lovely shop with lots of babies which tends to mean chaos but if you’re from the Global South or used to being around the chaos of children, this feels warm and homey. The ladies are nice enough and I didn’t catch any overt insults made to anyone while I was there.

I will give them a 5 star but Pregnant and almost walked out. I was a walk in but never waited so long. I was there for almost 3-4 hours waiting to get my hair done. I think because it was only one lady there that did butterfly locs. I paid $220, it didn't take to long once she did my hair. I always wanted this style for a least two years so I was satisfied and I love my hair. Next time I will definitely make appointment.
Thank you mama’s African Hair Braiding shop !!!! Love my hair , service good, prices great. Walked in and was seated right away no waiting and done within 3 hrs. Medium sized knot less braids. Will definitely be back and have referred a couple of people already. Found my forever braiding hair shop !!!! ❤️
