“This dentist office is a God Sent. I can suffer from extreme dental anxiety, and I was welcomed by the sweetest staff. I was very comfortable throughout my whole visit. Dr. Johnson is amazing as well! For once, I am actually excited to go back for my 6 month check up and cleaning.“

“i don’t even know where to begin, as someone with dental anxiety, this was the best experience i have ever had at a dentist. I felt so cared for, and bless the sweet lady that let me squeeze her hand because i know i was squeezing hard and she was just so sweet the whole time. I left with no pain & i still have no pain even though im pretty sure all the numbing medicine is gone by now. He explained everything he was doing & just made me feel so comfortable, constantly reassuring me i was doing good. If you need a good dentist, STOP HERE YOU FOUND HIM.

The Dental Hygienist, "Amie", and the Dental Assistant, "Melissa", definitely go Above & Beyond!!! They're like WOW! They're both very patient, professional, knowledgeable and have Amazing ppl Skills! I really enjoyed them both!
I feel like it would be wrong not to mention their Billing Mgr, "Tracie"...This lady has got to have SO MANY patients with SO MANY different billing needs, However...No matter what though, when she's speaking to you about your particular situation & needs...it's as though you're the only patient that she is working with. She will explain it all to you, so when you leave, you will feel fully informed regarding your individual "treatment plan"...Yes! She REALLY KNOWS her stuff & it's obvious to me that although she clearly has many responsibilities, she's very proficient in all that she does!

My visit to Dr. Morang’s office was great! Even before my visit, Taylor, the young lady over the phone was kind and attentive! Upon arrival the complete staff was the same! They got right in with minimal wait! Robin (Dr. Morang’s assistant) broke the ice and had me feeling comfy before the good doctor even came in! Dr. Morang was super nice and comforting and gave every assurance to help me with my dental needs! I’m looking forward to upcoming visits for the first time ever!

Update: 7.23.24

I returned to Dr. Morang’s office yesterday to begin the dental plan that he crafted for me. EXTRACTIONS! SEVERAL! And when I tell u that I barely felt that needle for numbing, that’s what I mean! After the numbing wore off, I had minimal discomfort. I took 600mg of ibuprofen and used the liquid aspirin around my gums, both over the counter pain relievers. I slept with no discomfort whatsoever.

Dr. Morang and his staff took great care of me, he actually cares about your experience in his office. I did not get paid to write this review. Had my experience been different, I would tell u. He’s over 70 miles from where I live and I will gladly make the drive every time because great doctors are hard to find. If u came across this review, u lucked the hell up. Go see him. Soon I’ll get to smile and sing without being self conscious. I’ll post more pictures of the finished work soon!

Are u looking for a Doctor and staff that cares about making certain u’re comfortable with their services?! Well if u need dental work Dr. Morang’s office in Athens, Ga. is the place u should go! These people are amazing individuals! Combined, ur experience in their care is nothing short of opulent! They’re just good people that always demonstrate care for my well being and I know they’ll do the same for u!!!

Go to Dr. Morang, he’ll give a good damn about cha for real. I’m not paid to tell u this and it’s the absolute truth. They will meet u with kindness at the door, they take pride in doing so! When my procedures are complete, I’m gonna drive away with a stunning smile, they’re making sure of it!!! So refreshing to post a positive review!!! ????

Appt Update: 8.8.24

Hey y’all! Here again I’m here to sing praises to Dr. Morang and his amazing staff! U’ll always be met at the door and over the phone with such genuine care, it isn’t fake, they actually take healthcare to heart! U’re not just a policy type number. His care isn’t a “grab the money and throw u out” type deal. The good Doctor and his staff, I feel, are good people out in the world, and they bring that goodness to the office with them and for me, good personal life principles and practices should be paramount when ur profession is in caring for others.

The last couple visits have been for denture fitting and design. It’s been important to me that transitioning from natural teeth to dentures doesn’t give an unfavorable presentation, u know, “those aren’t her real teeth” effect. After having several extractions the healing process, for me, has happened pretty quickly but I was still feeling some discomfort during the fitting and design process. Again, the care has been opulent, making certain to minimize the discomfort. To make certain the aesthetics represent what I should naturally look like with great teeth!

Reviewing Dr. Morang’s work has been so important to me because, I want others to know that they won’t be taken for a not so cool ride. I want u to experience good care and pass it on…we all need good care in this world.

If u notice, the first 3 pictures, no open smile. I haven’t been able to smile big in years not to mention the psychological aspect of that. As a professional singer, this has been a thorn in my career, a self esteem killer. But no more thanks to the good “
