I have bad teeth and have tried a number of dentists in Athens. I have finally found a place that treats my dental problems with a caring, loving, and professional manner. I would recommend Athens Family Dental to anyone and everyone! They take those of us with less than perfect teeth and treat us with the dignity everyone needs. After having a wisdom tooth extraction procedure abruptly cancelled by another provider I randomly visited Athens Family Dental to see if they could perform my procedure ASAP because I'm booked on a cruise next month. Even though I came in without an appointment I was seen and evaluated in a matter of minutes and my procedure was scheduled for a short time later. I had the extraction performed early this week and I could not be more pleased with the care I received. Dr. Miller, Cas, and the entire team put me at ease because it was clear to see that they were all extremely skilled and knowledgeable. I've been an off again/on again (insurance reasons) patient here since I was a kid. They have ALWAYS been super friendly, respectful, and understanding. I recently came in to have 5 teeth pulled. I was told I would be knocked out for the procedure (thank God!) They made sure to explain EVERYTHING to me in great details before they put me under. I DID NOT FEEL A THING! (The iv stung a bit but Im just a baby and don't do needles anyway). They made sure I was well medicated and had all of my prescriptions ready to go and handed to my husband immediately when they were finished and wheeled me out.
