My son started about 18 months ago and it has gone really well. They have been very accommodating offering both Zoom and in person sessions during Covid. Sensei Adam is great with young and unfocused kids and has a fun approach. Sensei Carter is also really great. Would definitely recommend to others.

I have called the Bougyo No Kan dojo my karate home since their opening in 2013. Having trained in karate for over 20 years, I find that I still have something to learn every class. The family friendly dojo has perhaps the most comprehensive curriculum I've encountered in my many years of training. If your goal is self defense, self improvement, fitness or learning a traditional karate style, you will find it at the Bougyo No Kan dojo!

We love this dojo! I have three kids--age 12, 9 and 7--who started with Sensei Adam and Sensei Luis as 3 or 4 yr olds.Growing up as 'dojo kids' in these instructors' environment has given them added confidence, a sense of mastery of a skillset, and of the day-by-day work that goes into it!And now, as they get older, it's nice too to know that they are able to fend off bullying and harassment if/when the need arises. Super open and inclusive environment here, but with plenty to offer kids interested to dig deep and be competitive martial artists.
