While I do recommend this barber shop, I would caution parents against selecting Mateo for a kid’s cut/kid’s fade. He cuts hair great but has very little patience with kids and doesn’t know how to communicate with them. Please keep this in mind when selecting a barber for your child. Overall, it’s a great barber shop and several barbers work well with children.
John is a wonderful barber but also a wonderful person. He cut my dad’s hair when at The Blake in October, and today I brought my dad to his shop. John completely turned my dad’s day around. Never underestimate what a haircut and great shave can do! We are incredibly grateful. My husband and son have also been going for cuts the last several months and the entire team does a great job.
We've been coming to this location for several years for both my son and husband. Mr. Izzy has been cutting my son's hair since he was three and does an amazing job with little boys. He is patient and skilled, guiding the kids to hold still and compensating when they inevitably wiggle a little. ;) The atmosphere in the shop is familial and friendly, with everyone taking care of each other and the shop.
