A newspaper ad led me to consider Selina Nails and Day Spa in Freedom Plaza near the Brownwood Hotel in The Villages, Florida. Their website convinced me to make a pedicure appointment. Why? The emphasis on cleanliness, a relaxing atmosphere, qualified techs and reasonable prices were qualities I was searching for. Selina uses 100% disposable jet liners, autoclave for nail tools and disposable pedicure and manicure kit. Their products are professional grade. All salon staff are professionally certified and exceptionally friendly. The business prides itself in being priced competitively with nail salons in the region. Had a good experience! Will probably return. This is the 4th nail salon I have tried since moving to The Villages November, 2023. The second experience at the previous salons has me looking for a new salon. I'm hoping the second time I go to Selina's will make me want to make it my nail salon of choice.
GREAT Nail Salon! I can see why this salon was highly recommended by my friend (who had tried several salons)... Selina Nails Day Spa is next to The Sunny Pint by Brownwood Hotel. Made an appointment (recommended) with the wonderful Receptionist (Karen) and met my AMAZING technician KARLY! Definitely recommend her! Clean, comfortable, amazing massage (, and even a complimentary beverage of choice)! Will be back... Check the paper for coupons, as well! BTW - they ask that tips be paid in cash, and there is a $2 service charge for using a credit card.
