“This is above & beyond... My husband & I were on our daily bike ride, the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. My husbands eye sight in his right eye suddenly started to fade rapidly. He basically could not see by the time he arrived home. He called Dr. Rouse, who met us at his office an hour after my husband called him. Dr. Rouse did a full eye exam. He told my husband, he had a Retina tear with bleeding behind the eye, which is why he could not see. Dr. Rouse immediately called Dr. Stuart Burgess, a Retina Specialist who met with us at The Florida Eye Institute 30 minutes later. Again, it was Sunday, about 2:30pm Labor Day Weekend!! Dr. Burgess unlocked the door, did a full eye exam, AND... Laser Surgery!! Wow! Thank you Dr. Rouse & Dr. Burgess! That people, is high level patient care! My husband did a followup 3 days later.
