After a suspected heat stroke, we initially took him to Veterinary Emergency Group,in Boynton Beach, where we were charged over $3,000 and told to put him to sleep. My husband rescued a stray dog that had many health issues. Heartworm among other things. After visiting a local animal hospital, we were told the treatments and surgery would cost about $6k. My dog was having accidents with blood in her urine so another vet prescribed antibiotics for UTI. After 2 weeks, this was the only vet who could see her the same day and x-ray showed a bladder dog stone. Surgery was scheduled a few days later and as of one week later, she is almost back to normal. Definitely worth the two 60 mile round-trip visits and 5+ stars!
