“Thank you, Dr. Matthews, for helping me out when I needed it! I wanted to try a new chiropractor and found this local chiropractor on Yelp. I felt comfortable talking with Dr. Matthews right away, and his calm and confident manner went a long way to help guide me to healing. His format seemed very standard, with leaving me alone in a room with the vibrating things on my back, adjusting me afterwards, and then asking me to do some physical therapy type stretches/activities in front of him that I would do at home. The hands-on adjustments were very brief and focused on the particular parts of the body where I was having issues (not the whole body). This seems to be extremely standard practice at most chiropractic offices I have visited. If I needed this type of care again, I would not hesitate to return. I don't know if this is still the case, but when I visited him, he was the only employee working, and I didn't initially realize that the person greeting me was the Dr. himself, as he didn't have a nametag on or identify himself. I did find this kind of awkward, in that it meant I had to talk insurance and scheduling and payments with my chiropractor. He may have an assistant by now, so this may have changed.“
