Gus's Window & Door Maintenance

I used Gus for years for sliding glass door repairs and they were great! The company was bought out by Bill Adams and the service is now horrible. Additionally, he misleads customers to believe the job is one amount of $ and then will send an invoice for more $.

I called Gus's on a Friday to see if they could fix a broken sliding glass door latch. Gus asked me to text him an image of the door, which I did. He said he could fix it. I asked to set up an appointment but he said he was out-of-town at the moment and would have to call me back on Monday to set something up. I gave him my information. Monday came and went and no phone call. So I contacted another door repair company and promptly set up an appointment with them. I finally got a phone message on Tuesday from a Gus's employee named Bill, who said he was in my area and wanted to come by to do the work ( no appointment; he just wanted to show up). I called him back and told him I had already gone with another company because Gus's didn't follow through. Bill didn't seem much to care. Gus's Window & Door Maintenance proved to be unreliable, and Gus projected a rather condescending tone when talking to him.

Gus' installed an expensive Hurricane Window for us a couple year ago. The recent storm occurred and it leaked like a sieve. Called the number for Gus and the new owner said there was nothing he could do to help us. Would definitely not recommend this company!
