Review of Encompass Rehab Center (vero) I was at cc Encompass for 7 nights and 8 days. Rebab was everyday for 3 hours each. It started slow and then got a little more intense. Perfect. The only issue was not knowing the times in advance. The Schedule seemed a little unorganized. I was on bell warning/fall wrist for first three days. Annoying because I drink a LOT of water and take lactulose so constantly going on the potty! I was on a soft diet so very limited. Not much to choose from. repetitive. All was good though. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Encompass. You literally take the lame like me and make us walk again. Case managers: Olivia helped guide me from the trauma hospital to rehab. Stephanie saw me every weekday to check my progress and help navigate the process. The doctors were great as was the therapy team. Nurse Rebecca spent some time to calm me and my wife on the first day when we were nervous and unsure of my recovery prospects A special thank you to Morgan and Linda who pushed me just enough to get going again and showed me how to live independently, but allowed me to point out when the pain was too much that day. Transferred here for rehab for ataxia. Within 3 hours, was so sick I couldn't hold my head up. Doctors immediately ran tests and discovered the hospital sent me to rehab in kidney failure! If the doctors had not been concerned, I would be getting dialysis now.
Doctors and staff are awesome; they visit every day, stay in great communication with each other and the patient; and they bent over backwards for me. Even the head of dietary visited a number of times. Food is average, like most facilities, but they go out of their way to feed you things you want.
