I have 20 years of martial arts experience and have been training Hapkido here for over 3 years and I love the discipline, dedication & knowledge show by all the instructors. This dojang makes you feel welcome and the quality of instruction leaves you with no doubt that you are learning from the best. This is a place where belts are earned and not given. I highly recommend anyone to come in for the free first class to get a taste of traditional martial arts. I'm sure you would love it!

Like any of you that is reading this review, we are trying to make a decision on which martial art school is the best fit. Allow me to highlight what this academy is and what it is not. This academy is serious, no nonsense martial art school. Every belt is earned through hard work, perseverance, determination, and a lot of sweat. You or your kids will not get tested just because you attend a certain number of classes as there is no trophy for participation. You have to put in effort to learn the technique and do it correctly before you are eligible for testing. For students that does not do well in the test, there is no belt promotion. A chapter of my life I am sad to leave behind now that I have been relocated across the country. Three nights a week you could find me here studying Hapkido or BJJ, sometimes both in a single night. While I was physically exhausted every time I walked out that door I felt a million times better than when I walked in after a long day at work.
