This company just recently went above and beyond for my family. Called them on a Saturday afternoon and within a few hours were at the house to check on the unit. They are trustworthy and professional.
Installed a new system in 2018 with a ten year parts warranty. Three years later, a the high side of the compressor develops a leak due to factory defective part (according to John). East Coast repaired the leak, not with a new part, but rather by soldering the existing cracked part, then charged me for $141 worth of refrigerant lost as a result of the failure, in addition to the labor to repair the failed part. I get the labor charge, but why do I have to pay for refrigerant loss resulting from a failed defective part? If the part weren't defective from the factory, the refrigerant would still be in the unit. I fail to see how that could be my responsibility. This occurred within two-three months of the annual service check. John said it was a slow leak, probably over 2-3 months time. Hmm, is this the sort of thing we check for during the annual service? Evidently not!
Amazingly fast turnaround from no heat in our home during these cold nights to brand new Rheem unit that is quieter than ever‼️John takes care of business?Erik & Chris worked from the moment they arrived to the moment they left - Great teamwork?Highly recommend EC Air & Heat????
