“I tied a handful of colorist after I moved here before I found Dayana. I used to be a stylist in a high-end Chicago salon. My coworkers, who I knew for years, always did my hair. It was difficult to trust a stranger, especially when you’re from the industry. It’s also got to be a little stressful for Dayana knowing I’m from the industry and picky. I know all the tricks and exactly what I want. Dayana is cool under pressure and always at ease. Which of course, puts me at ease too. With any new relationship it takes a couple sessions to figure each other out. 99% of a client colorist success is communications. Use pictures and explain exactly what you want. Don’t be afraid to give feed back. It takes two to make it work. And Dayana is a great listener! I highly recommend her. Many of my neighbors have started seeing her as well. I have people stop me on the street and ask who my colorist is.
