Even though we were there do put down our dog Holly(Dr. found out she had a tumor between her esophagus and lung), Dr Martinez and Allison were so compassionate and kind. And very comforting. I can’t tell you how much that meant to us. We will forever be grateful. We have another dog Fenway who will be coming to your vet for all her visits. One of the best animal hospitals in central florida. All the doctors (Especially Dr. Rick!) are wonderful and very knowledgeable. They dont over prescribe medications and recommended alternatives for home. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I drive 45 mins for all my dogs to go here.
This was my first visit to Tavares Animal Hospital, but definitely not my first time seeing Dr. Rick. I've been following him since 1996—and for good reason. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and truly passionate about caring for animals. What I appreciate most is that he always puts the well-being of the pets first, never recommending unnecessary treatments.
The staff at Tavares Animal Hospital was also very welcoming and friendly, which made the visit even better. Thank you again, Dr. Rick, for helping Miss Baylee! I drive two hours to see you, and it’s worth every single minute.
