Our mother recently passed away and Matt handled all of the funeral details. He was amazing in every respect. His kindness, compassion, and thoroughness brought a very difficult life event to a place that was manageable for a grieving family.We cannot recommend Matt and Steverson,, Hamlin, and Hilbish funeral home enough. Outstanding experience. This is the 3rd time I have entrusted a family member to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish/Tavares location. There is no detail they miss. Excellent communication. Highest level of professionalism with every staff member I encountered. I want to especially extend my outmost gratitude to Funeral Director, Matthew Pierson as well as Office Manager, Brenda Pucino. I highly recommend this amazing organization.

My uncle died recently in New York, after living in Florida for many years. He wanted to be buried with his wife in the veterans cemetery in Bushnell. Matthew Pierson at Steverson worked smoothly with our local funeral home in New York, smoothy coordinating the transport and arrangements. He informed us about services available and made recommendations as to what was appropriate. He truly made a stressful time much easier to bear, and seemed to sincerely care. Thank you again for all your help.
