Midwife Iliana Dole is a terrible midwife! I had a appointment but she saw another patient before seeing me even though I had a appointment causing me to have to stay longer than necessary. I was prescribed medication by Carrie Hanson when I went to pick it up there was a problem so when I went back to the office to speak to Carrie Hanson she wasn’t available so I spoke to Iliana Dole about the problem and she was no help at all. I went in today to speak to Carrie Hanson and she resolved the issue without any problems would definitely recommend her as a midwife but I will make sure to never set a appointment with Iliana Dole she provided terrible service. Found out I was pregnant with twins and was high-risk (advanced maternal age, prior premature birth). Had nothing but problems with this practice. Had to change doctors mid-pregnancy. No live person answering the phone and during complications (swollen ankles, elevated blood pressure) waited two hours for a call back. Finally told to come to the office and waited two more hours to be even be triaged...another hour to be seen by doctor. Complained about the lack of service and was forced to find another doctor. New doctor asked why my records didn't indicate I had been given progesterone shots (to prolong twin pregnancy ...especially having 1st baby prematurely) and was surprised I had never been offered them. Two weeks after leaving practice, my twins were born prematurely and died. If I'd had another doctor and gotten better care they might have lived. Stay away from this practice!
4th floor of St. Joe's, great parking deck attached, easy to get in and get out logistically. I've been seeing Dr. Solomon since 2000. She is fantastic and so are her staff. I've not ever waited more than 20 minutes to be seen, everyone is efficient and friendly. Just recently, TBWC has transitioned to an all online system. I was able to log in to my profile and see my appointments, results, etc relatively quickly in lieu of waiting for a phone call or post card to find out any information. That part is welcomed and really, really convenient. I've visited both the USF location and the Macdill location. Zero complaints, hence my 14 year loyalty.
