The biggest mistake I made was to allow them to install my air conditioning system, I have not gone 3 months without a problem since they installed it on October 10, 2018. Every time they would come in they would give me a different story. Stay away from this company and learn from my MISTAKE.
Hi! You guys raped us on costs 5 years ago for a new system and all new ductwork and then conveniently "weren't in business" to perform our system checks as written on the accepted quote. We'd accepted that you were shady dirtbags but didn't know the extent until today. The surge protectors I was talked into purchasing on the only service call we received (another $400) weren't even hooked up correctly so our start capacitor failed before the 'protection' did. The other one installed on the handler is completely unnecessary. We paid over 14K for new 4 ton system and duct work and have been told 10K would have been expensive, so... read full review
I had Red Cap come and do a annual service call. Upon completion of the service the tech gave me three options to select what needed to be done. He gave me three quotes which ranged from $10,101, $6,981 and $5,475. The list was extensive. I had the A/C checked again with another technician and found out that nothing was wrong. I truly believe that being a widow had something to do with this outrageous quote. My suggestion is to rethink using Red Cap. The tech knew what he was doing and didn’t regret one minute of it. I do not recommend this company at all. Stay clear.
