“Currently taking family classes and Sifu Garret is an amazing instructor. We learned so much in just the first class under his instruction. He teaches at a quicker pace while still making it easy to understand, allowing us to get the most out of each class. If your looking for a place and instructor thats truly effective and worth your time, you’ve found it.“
“I’m about to hit my year training here. Inductors are amazing. They are patient with their students. The environment is great. People are friendly and welcoming.“
“What can I say about training under coach Billy Q. Accomplished BJJ black belt, active UFC Veteran, and a great teacher. I love coming here!“
“We couldnt be more happier with our experience at Ingrams. If you are truly looking for a school to train in Okinawan karate look no further! Being a family owned business is what initially led us to give ingrams a try and you can immediately tell is a big factor to their success. Our 2 boys have been going here for just about a year and we absolutely love the training that they have received. Our youngest attends the little dragons class and our eldest attends the beginners class so weve been able to have a good chance to see how both programs operate. The boys really look forward to each class and we are so happy with how they have been progressing. Led by Sensi Sheri and Sensi Trey, you can really tell they genuinely care about all their students and are passionate about passing along their knowledge to the next generation. I also love how they incorporate the sempai's which helps instill a teaching culture within the senior students while at the same time teaches them how to be good role models. Each kids class is kept energetic and i enjoy how it ends with a fun game that the students really enjoy. They also host fun events for their students around the holidays which also adds to the wonderful culture they have created in the school. The after school program is also very good as they are constantly doing fun activities to keep the kids entertained while making sure they are in a safe environment.Keep up the great work!“
“My Husband, two granddaughters and now my grandson have all gotten their black belts through this school. I can not even begin to tell you what a wonderful experience it has been for my family. It is especially good when you have a teenage boy with a lot of pent up energy and hormones. Keeps them busy and focused on learning self discipline and doing it with two of the best instructors you could ask for. Truly a great family oriented school.“
“One of the best karate studios in South Tamp. They make karate so engaging for the kids that the children are excited for the next class. Every teacher is energetic and gives their full attention to each and every child. We are moving and my kids are going to absolutely miss this place. Wish we could take them with us !!“
“Well organised establishment. Very professional instructors and great environment for our son. Keep up the excellent work!“

“Wonderful classes for young ladies (self-defense) and astonishing experience! Very knowledgeable personnel“
“I try to be honest and informative with all my reviews. So this is my experience and personal perspective.Real fighters train here. There are a lot of mcdojos out there where they'll give you a black belt for showing up long enough and showing the most basic mastery of the movements and techniques in the curriculum. This is not that, not at all. This is marital arts distilled and purified into MMA. The only thing to remember is that he is not teaching you to street fight or defend yourself from ninjas. He is teaching MMA the styles he teaches are all based on set conditions and set rules. So if you are just some person who wants to learn enough to defend themselves and situational awareness and all that, plus you don't care about rules or competition, there are places that specialize in dirty moves, quick incapacitation, and using weapons like guns and knives to get the job done as nessicary.Leaving that stuff out of this gym, however, is a positive in my book. He lets other people teach all that to the people who want or need to learn it, allowing him to have laser like focus on what he does. Make you a better competitor, a better martial artist, and a better person. So, if you want to get to the next level and learn to fight other martial artists. This is for you. If you've gone as far as you can in the style you study now. This is your next step. If you're like me trying to get back in a ring after a bad injury. This is your place because they won't break you. Instead, they'll work with you and around your injuries. Or maybe if you just wanna learn so you have something to help you blow off steam? ? this is your spot.Nobody got mad. Everyone was cool. In short, there are a thousand reasons to go here, and the only reason not to is that they won't make you into John Wick with guns and knives. Whole other spot, whole other martial art. ?For literally any and every other reason, come here. I literally can't say enough good things about them. I'm so pleased. So I'll finish with this. I recently spent 5 weeks in a mcdojo and learned more from Coach by participating in one free lesson and simply observing another two lessons than I did in five weeks at the unamed mcdojo and I got way better sparring partners here.I signed up immediately. There wasn't even a question, really. I think this will be the beginning of a beautiful friendship with my fellow students and a great apprenticeship with Coach. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.“
“I can't believe that I'm the first to review! We have been coming to Finney's Tiger Rock for over 2 years now. Master Finney is the absolute best! She has a way with these kids, that's magic. My son has and is growing more confident. We love the flexible scheduling also! This is the go to martial arts in the area.“
“My son has trained here for years and it's like a 2nd home to him. It's perfect option for those that don't wanna be a part of a large meat market place and you get great personal attention w the training.“
“My five-year-old daughter is having a wonderful time at summer camp. She is learning martial arts, making new friends, and having a blast. She can even count to ten in Korean! The camp is packed with activities, and it has exceeded my expectations.“
“Our 6 year old son started last year in the Summer Camp and we decided to continue with the aftercare program, shortly after our son started developing interest in TaeKwon-Do and he is now a Tiger Cub Green Belt. He is very excited and we can definitely see his improvement.Melissa has been awesome in every possible way and our son loooves coach Emi and enjoys very much Coach Brian and Coach Ravi teachings.“
“My child went here for second half of fourth grade, summer camp and then all of fifth grade. Entire time the program was friendly, structured and accommodating when in 5th there were not many kids same age The summer camp is one of few in area that is truly all day no add ons for before/aftercare. Shame they do not offer options for middle school.“
