When I went to 2 other accountants to start preparing to pay our taxes for last year (I'm a freelance contractor and my husband is a full-time employee), they both estimated that we would owe quite a bit. When I asked them to clarify, I didn't get a very clear picture of WHY we owed that much. Clearly, they had no idea what they were doing. By the time Jen was done with our return, not only did we not owe any money, but we got a refund! She is always available, ready to answer questions via phone or email, and even helped when we had a sticky identity theft situation. She takes the time to explain the tax laws and my deductions so that I feel comfortable with her advice and guidance. I never get a "Because I said so!" response from her, like I did with the other accountants. Sorry, Jen, but you will be our accountant for the rest of our lives, for sure!!! :)
