I know more people here than anywhere else in the world, beginning with my great grandfather, buried in 1952. They were all great people and I miss many of them a lot. The cemetery is well-kept and cared for. I had planned on being buried in Bushnell, since I'm retired from the US Army, but I think I'll try to get a space here as I am "asturiano de pura cepa", from Gijon.
I believe this is the new Centuro Asturiano Cemetery. The mostly granite markers have mostly Spanish surnames. There is a Jewish section behind the large mausoleum in the back with just a few headstones spaced widely apart. There is a Fernandez family mausoleum and a large mausoleum towards the back.I found a magnolia or maybe it was camelia tree with intoxicatingly beautiful smelling blooms.
