Absolutely amazing massage that helped me work out deep muscle aches, released fascia, and helped my spine align. I have gotten massages from a range of therapists in New York and Los Angeles and the masseuse at Chen was terrific. If I were a local I would come here regularly for bodywork!

Will be a long review. Was in a lot of pain and they got me in within 15 minutes after I called to schedule the appt. I asked for the 'medical' massage, not knowing quite what it was, but knew it was t least deep tissue to some degree. It was definitely different than any I've had in the past, but in a good way, I was skeptical at first because the therapist left the sheet over me and was doing deep, hard pressing and I wondered if that would be the extent of it. It was mildly painful, and sometimes pretty painful, but in a very 'hurts so good' kind of way, so I just decided to relax and go with it to see how it would all end up in the end. I'm SOOO glad it just let him go on without complaining because it was very worth it based on the severity of my deep seated pain I'd been having. After that, he then proceeded to do what I would compare to a cross between a deep tissue and relaxation mix massage and it was wonderful! I will say there was some minimal pin at certain points because he focused on areas I had expressed I needed specific attention to - my hips and my lower back and a little in my shoulders. But, I can't tell you enough that if you just go with it, it's very worth it in the end! But, I'm not even done yet, after all of that he left the room and I actually thought he was done, but he came back and did hot stone therapy, which was pretty hot, I won't lie!! I did wince at one point, but seriously, it was just what I needed. You can take it!! Anyway, I left there feeling the way I needed to feel and I went home and did a little stretching, which had been very difficult before the massage because I was just so tight nd in so much pain it felt like I might pull a muscle or tear something. The other interesting part is that he didn't speak English, and used his translator on his phone once in the massage room to ask where I wanted him to focus on, and it worked out perfectly because he did focus on the areas I pointed out. Also, because he couldn't speak English it was actually kind of nice that I didn't feel the need to talk arbitrarily and just relaxed and enjoyed it in silence. And, I love the scent of the oil he used!! I will go back and I highly recommend the place. I wish I had thought to get his name, but I simply forgot. Prices are very fair for what you get!

Susanne just did a full body and facial for me. I loved it!! Probably one of the best that I have ever had. I have tons of body aches and soreness from arthritis and over worked muscle, she worked my muscles and I feel that she alleviated my tender spots. I would highly recommend her! The place was clean and her products smelled light and fresh. I have allergies and I never sneezed once. I was offered a bottle of water when I left. The 2 ladies working were gracious and worked fast to accommodate me. I went to the Chen's on MaHan Dr. in Tallahassee. A+
