I spent 6 years training Kali at Burke's Karate Academy and I cannot recommend them enough. Master Burke and Panganay Jason are not only exceptional martial artists, but exceptional teachers as well. Unlike many other schools I've trained at, they kindly and patiently instruct in a way that resonates with that individual student. The students at Burke's are friendly, train hard, and are always eager to help newer students. The atmosphere is always one of cooperation rather than competition. It's the perfect environment to grow as a martial artist and as a person.
I've taken many martial arts classes from many different dojos, and I give Burke's my highest recommendation. My favorite thing about Burke's academy is that it really is a family dojo. I take karate in the same class with my son, and there are many other families just like mine. The instructors are great with the kids, and there is something for every skill level. I can't say enough good things about the school.
