Returning home after being away for a while I noticed a 60 - 70 foot hickory tree in my yard hadn't produced hickory nuts this year and had dropped several branches. Fortunately Bartlett Tree Experts arborist let me know the tree could be saved but was clearly under stress. The Bartlett crew did some critical limb removal. This work included rapelling up the tree to reach some higher limbs. I took the arborist's advice and got my soil analysed by experts. Sure enough, as he surmised, my soil is potassium deficient. I had a water oak in my front yard and needed an expert opinion on whether the tree needed to be removed or not. The tree needed to be removed for my safety.
