I was referred to Lu at Paul West Haircutting Company and I am extremely impressed! My hairstylist who has been cutting my hair for 20 years retired! I was devastated! I have short hair and a very edgy , precision cut, so I was a bit nervous, going to someone new, BUT…..I am beyond happy! She listened, took her time and voila, a perfect cut! Paul West is the stylist who expertly corrected a badly botched haircut I received at another local salon (which I first tried to have corrected at a second salon, unsuccessfully). Paul has a wait list of several weeks with good reason. He took his time, explained what he was doing, discussed options with me. It was admittedly a very hard cut to fix. Now I have a cute, evenly layered and textured medium-length cut. I saw some of his other clients in the salon leave very happy with sophisticated short hair cuts, so I would say if you want a sophisticated, not sloppy, cut and salon experience, then go to Paul West. He plays great music in the salon too, stuff that grown adults can tolerate. I'll be going back.
I can't say enough great things about this salon! I am new to the area and after researching many salons and reading hundreds of reviews, I decided to go to Paul for my cut. I had long hair, very thick and wanted it cut short. Paul was amazing from the moment I met him. He listened to what I wanted, but most importantly he took his time and as he was cutting walked me through the process. I left with an amazing haircut and couldn't be happier! Paul is so personal and professional. I will absolutely be back for him to maintain my new look. Thank you!
