Dr Maldonado is an exceptional vet. She cares. She follows up with in person calls, takes her time with my pup and her manner is very kind. I refer anyone I can think of who may need a vet to this spot. Great work folks.

I'm very happy that I was able to find Dr. Wood my dog & cat's previous veterinarian from another office! He's great, honest and caring. The facility is warm and friendly which is a huge plus for me. They have an ER care and, I believe, an ophthalmologist's facility too, a one-stop convenience! Everyone is professional and kind. Having to move and live in an unfamiliar area was very concerning for my fur baby's well-being. Here's the best part Monterey Animal is approximately 5 minutes away, at the most, if there were no lights and emergency (I hope this will never be a day to experience)... I'm happy, happy!

Monterey Animal Clinic has been so good to our dog and us since we moved here in 2015 through to the final days of our dog's life in 2023. Dr. Hooks found her hundreds of stones and gave us a plan and Dr. Stinman removed them. We continued to see Dr. Stinman and he helped us provide the best care for her after as well as whatever issues arose as she aged. Finally, Dr. Wood discovered her terminal cancer and helped us provide her the best palliative care we could right up to her final day. He always returned my calls and was quick in response.
