On account of Ada being of Puerto Rican origin, the best word for her as a barber or hair stylist comes from Spanish: formidable, meaning fantastic, terrific, tremendous, intimidating, almost scary. She's not just a skilled stylist/barber, she's a presence, a force of nature. The sign on her mirror captures something close to the core of her being. It addresses God not to ask for anything but to say thank you for all God has already given her. Today was my first time at Blue Dolphin. It won't be my last. Thank you, Ada!
I went for a haircut this morning lost my former haircutter a year ago. That was the first time I went to see Ada. It’s been a while since I’ve had my haircut I don’t have time for so it was quite a chore when I saw her today lol I showed up with lots of problems That were happening to me this morning less than two minutes she settled me down made me laugh and made me look a lot better. It’s great to meet good people and this lady….Is amazing great for the soul….and awesome with the scissors. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Very charismatic older lady running the salon. Mrs Aida is an amazing hair stylist. One of the only barbershops in town I can go to for my cowlick ridden hair. Great down to earth atmosphere.
