John, the owner, is a nice guy. His prices are affordable in comparison to other companies. HOWEVER, We rented a tent and string lights for my wedding with him. We were upfront with telling him our desired plan. The tent is for use if it is bad weather only. We wanted to cancel the tent if possible but keep the lights regardless and if no tent is used, poles would be necessary on one side to attach the lights to. He assured us if we were to cancel the tent before 72 hours of the event we would not be charged and he would still be able to do the string lights without a problem. look up other companies and see the price and what they offer for that price it is nothing near the prices you will get from American Tents & Events. be wise investigate and let him know what you want how many people and where you want it at , where to put it up and when to take it down. excellent crew experience.
