Adams Homes is using the hurricane as an excuse to deny ALL claims for every home if a claim was not made before the hurricane.The general manager, Fred Lintz, specifically said if a claim was not called in prior to the hurricane, they are denying everything.My homeowners insurance has already marked the claim for subrogation investigation and said Adam's homes will end up paying more this way because Adam Homes will also be responsible to reimburse for the investigation to prove it is due to the structural integrity and craftsmanship.The hurricane winds were on the opposite side of the structure, which is clearly documented by evidence of our tree in the front yard, and I took numerous videos and pictures documenting everything from the outside of our house that night.This was not hurricane related but because I didn't connect the dots and stand in a place I had furniture before the hurricane, they are using it as an excuse to cover their responsibilities.Let me be clear, every home in our neighborhood has had a claim denied that is not hurricane related. Even claims that were filed months ago, they told my neighbor that a light that stopped functioning within a month of moving in was an Act of God.

What Adams Homes did to us should be against the law. We signed the contract 1/10/21 to have our first home built by Adams Homes. We were beyond excited to pick out all of our upgrades and get started with the process. We knew there would be delays due to everything going on in the world and quoted about a year by Adams Homes.
