I booked a standard blowout at the last minute, like right before my lunch break today, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Jackie was my stylist today. She washed my hair thoroughly with Redken Shampoo & Conditioner. She asked me if I wanted to rinse the conditioner out with cold water, which I thought was common practice at hair salons but it was so refreshing that she even asked (as opposed to getting the cold exposure to the cranium without warning). Not very impressed. Almost double the cost of my go to place where people are actually friendly and don’t roll their eyes at you. The girl at the front was nice and professional but the stylists look very sad - very obvious that they don’t want to be there. Mine barely said a word to me and acted annoyed when I asked her to fix my line in a nice way. I won’t be back…
Blo Me Away is my go-to salon! I have been a consistent client for years for blow-drys. I have very challenging hair to blow dry and the services at Blo Me Away are exceptional! They use quality products (and are also flexible in using products clients bring), provide thorough blow dries, and finish the process with waves, etc. at the client's request. It is easy to make a booking via a scheduling app or by calling the salon, and they offer a very wide variety of times starting at 8am. The only area the salon could improve in is the air conditioning - if the salon has few clients, it can be comfortable, but at a busy time, the salon becomes extremely hot. This is... read full review
