I am from Missouri and we come down to Siesta Key 2-3 months out of the year so I usually need a haircut while I am here. I am so thankful I found Dawn at Sassy Hair! She takes the time to actually listen to what I want and studies your hair before she dives in. It’s so refreshing to be heard and not told what needs to be done! She is truly a professional and I always love my hair when I leave. Thanks Dawn!

What do you when you find the hairdresser of your dreams while you are on vacation? Each year I visit Siesta Key in Florida. While getting desperate for a root cover up, I visited Sassy Hair Salon, just outside the center of town on Siesta Key Beach. Before I arrived, I had called and inquired about whether or not they had an organic alternative to the harsh chemicals that most salons typically put on people's hair. My plan was to just get roots. Upon arriving, I spoke with Glory who assured me that she had been a holistic hairdresser for 25 years and as it turned out, she had just what I needed. Glory took the time to assess what my needs were and made suggestions as to how to move forward. She recommended a cut and blow dry along with the root color. I was a little skeptical as I really don't let anyone cut my hair except for my regular hairdresser at home in Massachusetts. I agreed to move forward and I have to say, Glory gave me the best hairstyle I have ever had. When she finished, my cut and color was beautiful. My hair had blended color that toned down the bleach blonde brassy color that occurred while I had spent the previous month on the beach and in pools. My hair was soft and manageable. I left there with a whole different mindset that I came in with. I had a great experience. Glory proved to be not only talented with hair, but very personable which made my experience even more gratifying. I guess I will have to go back to Siesta Key and visit Sassy again. In the meantime, Glory comes highly recommended.
