SMH Urgent Care Center at St. Armands

With much reluctance, I had to come in today knowing how sick I was would require being seen to get the meds I needed for strep throat.

I live here and as an uninsured American, I have never been to the doctor anywhere in town for 6 yrs due to how costly it always comes out.

Today I was listened to, cared for, and absolutely was not taken for a walk with unnecessary tests or suggestions. I am so glad I came in and will be returning if myself or teenagers need to be seen. Highly recommend and I thank you for the honesty ???

I was vacationing on Long Boat Key for the week,and became quite ill the night before while dining at a wonderful local restaurant. I thought I was experiencing GERD, something I've suspected before, but without confirmation from any medical caretakers because it's occurred so infrequently.

Great experience...attentive staff and PA was very helpful. Good to know that there is a place nearby that you can rely on if you need medical attention while on vacation. So efficient that we were seen, treated and released in 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend!
