We took a quilt with a “tropical pattern” of palm tress to Mel’s to have a stain removed and have it cleaned. The stain was caused by a leak from an ink bottle for refilling self inking stamps. This is impossible stuff to even get off your fingers let alone a quilt. They were very sceptical about the possibility of success and asked us to sign a waiver if the effort to remove the stain damaged the item during the removal attempt. A couple of days latter we picked it up and with trepidation asked how they made out with the removal. They replied that they got it all an without any damage to the item. They were right!!! Still the best in Sarasota. Started going to Mels because I worked near by so when I got another job that was farther away decided to try another place nearby. Well, so far I have tried 2 other cleaners and I have yet to find the quality I received at Mels. Going back.?
