Dr. Greg S. Rutherford DDS. The best choice for the best care!! What can I say? . ....Every experience I've had from the first day was exceptional to say the least! I was definitely referred to the right dentist for extensive, complex work ahead!I From the moment I first entered the office, I found myself in a serene , tastefully decorated, softly lit, simple waiting room, all conducive to the creation of a sense of calmness…almost Feng Shui like. Of course, I never had the opportunity to sit there and wait, because as soon as I opened the exterior door and received smiles and welcoming hellos from the front desk staff, his assistant opened an interior door to greet and welcome me, and escorted me to my treatment room, where I was made comfortable and waited just a few more minutes for the Dr. to come in. His assistant continued doing this every time I had an appointment. Dr. R always came into the room just a few minutes after I was seated. He was soft spoken, cordial, reassuring, very informative about what was going to happen, answered all of my questions to my satisfaction, and then some. He instilled a feeling of confidence and trust from that very first meeting and communicated everything in the most caring, reassuring way, making it clear that he would do everything possible to take care of me to my satisfaction. My case is a bit complex and involved, but he is always on top of everything, assessing, exploring every option to his satisfaction, definitely a perfectionist and proceeds to give me his utmost attention and care. He has this quiet strength about him that is so comforting and reassuring. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the amazing communication between him and his very competent assistant. All he had to do was look up at something or somewhere, and she knew what he wanted without one spoken word between them. Every appointment was the same, but my condition warranted quite a few unanticipated appointments(sometimes my fault😒), that were always scheduled at least for the next day or even the same day. If I was scheduled for the next day, but a cancellation opened up some time during the day I called, one of the 4 professional, competent and friendly members of his staff, would call to ask me if I could come in that very day because he really wanted to squeeze me in. Gold star treatment you don't see very often! He utilizes the most updated equipment, and the most painless numbing injections that I have ever experienced through the many, many years of dental work I've had. I still have many more months to completion, , but I already have my smile back.....with the temporaries. I have also received numerous compliments on them about the fabulous job he did. I will definitely continue with him for any routine and otherwise general dentistry matters, as well. Why would I ever want to see another dentist or Prosthodontist when I was lucky to be referred to him? Kudos and many thanks Dr. Rutherford!!!! Connie G.
