Recently DD’s lost one of our garments, a $150 Banana Republic shirt. After telling us to “return in a couple weeks” multiple times over, we were told that there is “no proof” that our shirt was lost and that there was nothing they could do to prevent any loss in the future. We were offered a $20 store credit as an apology for losing the shirt, and when that was not satisfactory, we were asked to not return to the store. The operator informed us that they do not keep records of garments that are entrusted to their care because they are “old school”.

Had three suits and two shirts dry cleaned. I pick them up and put them in my closet, as you do. A short time later I went to put on one of the shirts and discovered they were in fact, not my shirts. I returned the two shirts still in the bag to Dd's and informed them that most likely someone else picked up my shirts. Every few weeks I stopped back in to inquire, and got no real sense that any effort was being made to find my shirts. This morning at the six-month mark and me out my two custom-made shirts, I asked the owner Bill to be reimbursed. I was told no and that "there's nothing we can do from a business standpoint." I've been coming to this place for 4 years and have always had a good experience with my dry cleaning. They removed stains that I didn't think would ever come out. Staff is always very friendly too.
