Great local Pilates/yoga studio! I have been coming to classes here for a few months now, trying a few different classes and instructors, they are all wonderful! There is a good variety of classes offered, and the instructors work with you to accommodate your skill level. Being new to the area, it was so refreshing walking in and feeling welcomed by everyone’s kindness!
Having joined a franchise Pilates studio in another city in 2021, after I moved full time to Apollo Beach, I was looking to continue. I'm so glad I found this studio. I've been going for almost a year now and feel great. The studio is located in Ruskin on Route 41, and offers many different types of classes from straight Pilates mat or reformer classes to barre to yoga pilates, to aerial yoga. The studio is three rooms, one has the reformer equipment, one is for mat type classes, and one for yoga and aerial yoga. The prices are extremely reasonable and the instructors are very good. I have found I've built strength and flexibility and I intend to continue for the rest of my life. One star off for the HVAC issues they have. Two of the rooms have floor to ceiling windows, and the AC doesn't work properly to keep the rooms cool. I wish they would address that as, at times, it feels like hot yoga LOL. For someone who is going through their own personal summer, it can get very uncomfortable.
I have been doing Pilates here for about 2 months. Private sessions with Jen only at this point. I was new to Pilates with no experience and recovering from a neck injury. I have a history working out in in my teens and twenties (intermediate to advanced yoga, aerobics, cycling, weight training, etc.) but for the last 5-6 years nothing consistent. I did research and felt like Pilates would help rehab my neck and generally strengthen in the areas I needed. I found their studio and reached out to see about an intro private appointment.
