“Two months ago I received the news that all pet parents dread hearing - my 12 year old dog’s suspicious oral mass (that we thought was from a tooth access) was positive for a malignant tumor. My world ended that day. I met with the oncologist, which was a horrible experience, and almost gave up hope - until I went to Access and met with Dr. Flynn. He told me that he would be able to do a partial jaw removal and that dogs are able to eat the next day, and totally heal from this surgery in 2-3 weeks. He did not disappoint. Dr. Flynn and his surgical team were absolutely amazing throughout this whole traumatic experience. I felt totally supported and the Dr. made himself available to patiently answer all of my questions and concerns throughout the following weeks. It is now 4 weeks out - she is fully healed, thriving and you can’t even tell she had the surgery. Most importantly, Dr. Flynn successfully removed all the margins of the tumor, so we have the best possible chance for recovery. If it wasn’t for him, she would not be here today. Dr. Flynn gave me all possible scenarios and worked with me to come up with the best possible treatment plan for my baby - respecting my wishes every step of the way - while also trying to keep my costs down.
